Fax machines are hurting healthcare.

iHealth Exchange estimates that doctors still fax most of their referrals, which can cost the average practice nearly $50,000 per year in operational and personnel costs. Medical practices and hospitals in the iHealth Exchange network are rededicating those resources by relying on tibbr, private social networking, to electronically manage the referral process between providers, while taking into account healthcare industry’s stringent exchange laws and regulations.

iHealth Exchange’s new solution provides electronic workflow following patients from point to point, and enabling over 12,000 physicians to collaborate more effectively on patient care. Physicians can also access this solution from the tibbr mobile app and continue to exchange information as needed, throughout the day.
